This past Friday I had a fabulous opportunity to meet up with some local bloggers in Atlanta for a dip party. We all made our favorite dips and met up at a central location to enjoy each others company.

PERFECT PAIRING: FRITO-LAY & DIP

Everyone’s dip was great, of course, and paired with Frito-Lay chips. I opted to bring a Cheesy Taco Dip but not before testing it out with my family first. They loved it so I knew that it would be a crowd pleaser.

My husband preferred the dip paired with Fritos Scoops and I liked it better with the Tostitos Scoops. No matter how you pair it, this dip will definitely fill you up.

We all left the dip party with full tummies and happy faces.

Cheesy Taco Dip

  • 1 pkg taco seasoning
  • 1/2 cup chopped roasted red pepper
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1/2 cup diced vidalia onion
  • 1/2 cup Philadelphia cooking creme
  • 2 cups Velveeta Shreds
  • 1/2 tsp chili powder
  • 1/4 tsp ground cumin
  • 1/2 cup diced green bell pepper

In a skillet brown the ground beef, drain and rinse well. Return to pan. Add one package of taco seasoning and 1 cup of water. To that add onion, red pepper, and green pepper. Cook on medium-high heat until onions are translucent. Stir in 1/2 cup Philadelphia Cooking Creme, Velveeta Shreds, Chili Powder, and Ground Cumin.

Serve Warm with either Tostitos Scoops or Fritos Scoops.
