As a girl, we are often told that we can’t do things. But this simply isn’t true. Girls can do whatever they want if they put their mind to it. As the saying goes “haters gonna hate”. So let ’em! Don’t let those that tell you that you can’t do something get to you. Brush it off and just do it!
You can’t do something because you are a girl? I mean really? We CAN do it! And don’t let anyone tell you that you can’t. I love the #girlscan Covergirl campaign that is empowering women everywhere. My love for diy projects challenges me to figure out ways to do a task myself (versus paying someone else to do it for me) or make something from scratch (versus just buying it, which may be easier). So what if I’m a girl, I can still do it! The #GirlsCan campaign proves that women are AWESOME and we CAN do anything that we set our minds to. Covergirl has teamed up with Walmart to give girls everywhere a voice. Covergirl and Walmart will both be donating $50k each to Dress for Success, a not-for-profit organization that offers economic independence to disadvantaged women. Join in the movement and share your own personal story of how you overcame the “can’t” via social media using the hashtag #girlscan. Turning “can’t” into “can” starts with all of us.
When it comes to mascara, I prefer natural bristles versus the bigger, plastic type bristles. The Covergirl Max Volumne Flamed Out Mascara has everything that I look for in a mascara. A big full, fluffy bristled brush and a formula that coats my lashes well. This mascara finishes my eye look perfectly with no clumps and its buildable formula makes my lashes look full without feeling heavy. Not only is the Covergirl Max Volume Flamed Out Mascara a great mascara to have in your makeup bag but it is also linked to the #girlscan campaign. On your next trip to Walmart, be on the lookout for the #GirlsCan Covergirl display with limited-edition mascaras in both the Max Volume Flamed Out and Professional formulas.
