The great thing about ordering things off of the internet, is that you never really know when you will receive it in the mail. Even though Christmas was a couple of days ago, I am still receiving gifts that my husband ordered for me off the net. It is like everyday I’m getting something new.
Today I received a Bare Escentuals, Mineral Foundation kit. I took it upon myself to give ya’ll a review of the product. They claim to cover up the redness of pimples [god, knows I have plenty of them], give great
coverage, even claiming to improve the condition and over-all look of the skin. So I took beforeand after photos so that you could see the results for yourself. You be the judge.
My Review:

Does cover blemishes like it claims, but looks a little cakey at times.![]()
Doesn’t cover dark circles or veins very well [I am pretty pale, I have to worry about stuff like that]
Doesn’t minimize the appearance of large pores.
My skin Does seem to look better in overall appearance.
My skin doesn’t look like the make-up is caked on.
Was very easy to apply.
Will probably buy this item again. It is supposed to improve the skins condition so I’ll let you know how that goes in a couple weeks or so.
[edit] Makes my skin feel a little on the dry side, despite the fact that I put moisturizer on before using bare minerals[/edit]
was the best christmas I have had in a really long time. I got everything I wanted and somethings I didn’t necessarily want but found out that I love them.
Here are a few things that I received as gifts from family and my loving husband…
thedomesticdiva.org [from hubby that I absolutely love to no end]
a new knee brace for my bum leg [courtesy of myself with hubbies moo-lah]
make-up kits (one for nails, one for the face) and bare escentuals mineral foundation [hubby]
Desperate Housewives Complete First Season DVD Box set [Brother-in-Law]
Gobs of Apple stuff for my kitchen [various family members-btw my kitchen has an apple theme]
A new Cell/Camera phone that hasn’t been activated yet (Samsung SGH p207) [me]
This is my first post on wordpress on my brand new, fresh off the similac, very first domain name [thedomesticdiva.org]. I am so excited to have a real site now instead of having to rely on free ones. Although, my free hosts were kind, and were there for me through thick and thin going on 7+ years, it is time to say goodbye to them and graduate to a real domain of my very own.
I am currently in the process of teaching myself, all the new and exciting things I am able to do on a paid domain. So bare with me as I go through a learning stage. If you have any advice, or sites that have good tutorials, please pass them along they would be greatly appreciated.
