Girl, I am with you!!!! I decided to stay home after my second child was born, and for the last two years have been caring for someone else's kids a couple of days a week to supplement the income. Looks good on paper---some extra money, we're home anyway & I get to be with my kids. (I worked outside the home when my first child was younger). I have worked with children all my adult life & I found that it is way more difficult after you have your own...there is no way to love (or LIKE) everyone the same. It can be frustrating, but each child is different, and try to remind yourself that although the bean is not an easy baby, you can find some redeeming qualities. The routine will come. In the meantime, the baby swing will be your best friend! As the children get older, I've found subtle differences in personalities and family dynamics to be fascinating. Also frustrating, as I am very laid back & find humor in lots of things...could not believe one of the older kids in my care was not allowed to pee outside! That was culture shock for me. My 6 year old does it in the front yard! Names for privates was another difference...we have always used a euphemism for the genetalia (the goober & the boys). Other Kid says penis. He thinks goober is a bad word. So, then I have to explain that "at our house 'goober' is not a bad word..we say it all the time." See what you have to look forward to? BTW, thanks for the comment & link. I'm so gonna blogroll you when I figure out how to do it...

Yeah, I'm about to pull my hair out! Let's just say I can't handle the "neediness" and "constant crying" too well. Hopefully it is all just because he doesn't feel well. Then again maybe that is just how they have brought him up so far.
