Last year [when I was working at a child development center with infants] we had an infant like that too. It looked like bruises as well. We had to report it and the mother explained what it really was.

					<description>Had to smile at the smurf comment:)  Actually my best friend adopted her kids from Korea and her oldest also has a similar type of mark.  His are more of a brown color though, not black and blue.  The first time I saw his, I thought it was a dirt mark on his back.</description>
