Hubby has been having a hard week coping with the loss of his father. Its been a bad week for him. Upon scanning the net for comfort he came across this youtube video below that offered some sort of healing for him. He plays this song over and over again. He loves the way that Frenchie sings. If you don’t recall, Frenchie was booted off of american idol a couple seasons ago. Anyway I thought it was odd that hubby would find comfort in a broadway song since he doesn’t like broadway in no way shape or form. This song actually makes him cry everytime he hears it.
So Drea tagged me for a little game so here goes…
THE RULES: Each player of this game starts with the 6 weird things about you. People who get tagged need to write a blog of their own 6 weird things as well as state this rule clearly. In the end, you need to choose 6 people to be tagged and list their names. Don’t forget to leave a comment that says you are tagged in their comments and tell them to read your blog.
1. Like Drea, I too MUST sleep with my feet out of the covers. If my feet are hot, I cannot sleep!!! My father does this as well. When I had my appendectomy the nurses would always come in and immediately cover my feet. By the third day in the hospital I was so sick of people covering my feet.
2. I must know where everything is at ALL TIMES!!! It is weird, borderline OCD. Whenever we leave the house I must check the doors numerous times, check my purse for my keys several times and if I must have an important document I check to make sure I have that as well. Everything must be checked several times before I can “rest” knowing that it will stay where I put it. Like when my son was little and using a pacifier, I had to check and make sure I had put the pacifier in the pocket in the diaper bag I know at least 3 times before I would stop checking. I’m always afraid of losing something that I need. I don’t know why I do this, it can be rather annoying.
3. I rarely eating my own cooking. It isn’t that my cooking is horrible or anything in fact I get rave reviews over my desserts whenever hubby takes them to work but I mainly bake as means of something to do. Baking is a creative outlet for me. I like to see people happy and enjoying what they are eating so I bake to please. If I ate everything that I cooked, I would be as big as a house.
4. I NEVER pay full price for anything. I buy everything on clearance which drives hubby crazy but I can’t bring myself to pay full price for anything. When hubby buys something not on sale or clearance I get mad at him because I think to myself, I could have bought 5 of whatever instead of him just buying that 1 item.
5. I can do several weird tounge tricks…
Some of these are very rare, I forgot the statistics on how rare some of these are but I’m sure you’ll be in the mirror later today trying to do them yourselves.

Oh yes, you ARE looking at a whole table full of freebies I received in the mail the other day. I just had to show ‘em off. My favorite is the *new* not even in stores Clorox disinfecting Kitchen cleaner.
My mother just called this morning to inform me that my grandmother [her mother] is in the hospital. Not only the hospital but ICU. Seriously, I can’t take this anymore. I am so sick of hearing knews of people in pain. This whole start of 2007 has just really sucked. First I had to have an emergency appendectomy at 20 weeks pregnant [by the way half of that story is up and ready to be read by you], then my father in law died, now my own grandmother is in ICU. What more is going to happen this year? How many more people have to suffer?
Here is a photo of my grandmother, please keep her in your prayers…
