So we’ve made it “back home”. I’m finally no longer apart of middle america. Middle America might be right for some people but for me, I’m a southener. I love the south and want to raise my family here. Hopefully, I will be able to stay here for a while.
Upon arriving in our new town, we went and got our house key from the landlord, got our lights turned on and got to see our new house for the very first time. Although it may be a little “dated” to say the least, it is HUGE!!! We have so much space in our new house that we can’t decide on what room should be used for what. I’m even having the problem of what to do with a spare room. We have a spare room! I can’t believe that. My husband loves the new place. I do too, I just wish the appliances were a little on the newer side. My stove for example looks like something from the 1800’s….LOL. Ok, maybe not that old but definately something from the 60’s or 70’s. And wood paneling…oh my goodness. When we moved out of my grandmother’s basement, I vowed to never live in another house with wood paneling. Well, guess what? Never say never, right? I know. But the space totally makes up for the ugly wood paneling and dated appliances. Space, space, space.
On another note, if you haven’t read already. My grandmother passed away today just shortly after we entered my new city. It was as if she was waiting for us to “Get home”. She will be missed and the rest of the week will be pretty hard with unpacking and going to the funeral and stuff. I’m trying to keep myself busy to keep from bawling. We’ll see how long this lasts. I’m sure to have a major breakdown before the week is over. I don’t think it will really hit me till I get to see my mother and the rest of my family.
Anyways, since I’ve been riding in a car all day and have a whole 26 foot uhaul to unpack tomorrow, I better go get some beauty sleep. Whenever I get the internet connected at my new home is when you’ll get another update. I think. Hopefully, I’ll get to provide ya’ll some pics of the new house. So stay tuned, so you don’t miss out.

Are you a total addict of Days of our Lives? I know I am. I absolutely hate it when I have to miss an episode. With no tivo or digital recorder, I often just have to guess at what happened on the day that I missed an episode. Well not any more. At this website that I found they recap what happend on that day so I never have to guess what happens on the days I can’t get to the TV to watch my show. So watch out belle and shawn I may not be “watching” every single day but I’m definately keeping up with you guys by “reading” about what happens with you two.
Well today I received some more sad and upsetting news. My grandmother, who had been sick for the last couple of months, passed away shortly after lunch. I will type up a remembrance post of her life as soon as I can process what has just happened.
We are in the middle of moving and had just gotten to our new house in my home state when my father broke the news to me. In a way it couldn’t have happened at a better time since I am now back “home” and not out in Middle America anymore. I’d rather have her pass while I’m “at home” then to pass while I’m stuck in the middle of nowhere.
I’m trying not to think about it much because I know I won’t be able to stop crying. I just keep thinking about how many people have died in just the last 6 months alone. I don’t think I can take anymore death. I feel bad that she won’t be here to see the birth of yet another great-grandchild. That is one more grandparent that won’t be able to see another miracle enter this world.
So payperpost my current “employer” just stated that they have some “big news” coming to the company in the next few weeks. I have no idea what the “big news” could be, but I’m sure whatever it is will be completely amazing. Everything that payperpost has done, so far, has been nothing short of great. Everything that payperpost touches eventually turns to gold. The anticipation of trying to figure out what is going on with the company is going to drive me nuts until it is revealed. Why must they torture us like this?
Payperpost wants us to attempt to guess what is going to happen in the next couple of weeks but I just can’t even imagine what it could be. I’ve scoured the web looking for clues with no such luck. I just know it will be “big”, “great”, and possibly “off the chain”. Whatever this “big news” is, I’m totally looking forward to it. So bring it on, payperpost. Bring. It. On.
If you don’t know what payperpost is then you should totally check it out. Anyone who blogs should be working for payperpost! If interested, please click the link below…
I’ve made almost $600.00 with this company in as little as a couple months. It is completely worth it. This is in no way a gimmick. If you have any questions about this company or what I do, by all means ask. I am more than willing to explain everything to you.
So the “big day” has arrived. I’m frantically running throughout my semi-empty house cleaning, packing the remainder of our stuff, and trying to get out of here as quickly as possible. Blogging will be on a short hiatus this week as I try to pack and move my family 5 states away. Moving isn’t fun. Moving isn’t easy, but it has to be done.
Rain. Yes it is supposed to rain tomorrow the whole time we are supposed to load the Uhaul. Thankfully I don’t have to do any of the loading since I’m pregnant but still rain and moving just don’t go together. At. All.
The worry of not having a house to move into is over. Yesterday we got confirmation that we do indeed have the 3 bedroom house that we wanted to rent. It was between us and 3 other families. We got lucky, that is all we can say. Same rent as the house we are currently in but more square footage. I’m so excited to see it. We’ve only seen it in pictures so I hope that we like it. I’m sure we will since anything beats being in Tornado Alley at this point and time.
Utilities, well that is another story. Hubby forgot to call the city today so we might not have the lights turned on when we get there. Since it is the city we doubt they are open tomorrow. So unless they turn stuff on the same day you request it, we will be without lights for a couple days. Look at it this way, it could be like we are camping….LOL
.
Well, I attempted to go to sleep tonight around 8ish since I need to be up at the crack of dawn to finish up the house but I was having trouble sleeping so I’m up blogging instead. It isn’t fun to be completely exhausted, uncomfortably 7 mos. pregnant, and not be able to breathe through your nose because it is stuffed up due to a head cold your husband so lovingly decided to share. Let’s just say trying to sleep now-a-days is pretty miserable. I can already see insomnia setting in soon. I had insomnia with pnut the last couple months of pregnancy. I’m sure to have it again with this baby.
You know, they really shouldn’t show people eating on television at night. I’m sitting here roaming through the tv channels when I stumble upon someone eating marshmellows. Now why must they do that? Don’t they know there is a pregnant woman with a stuffy nose that can’t sleep that now wants marshmellows because of that 5 second spot on TV? Don’t they know that this same pregnant woman just went rummaging through moving boxes in her garage hunting down the only pack of marshmellows she knows she had in the house just to satisfy the craving? Grief!
Well now that I’m totally starting to ramble along, I’m going to take my bag of marshmellows and continue to channel surf and read blogs. If I don’t blog for a couple of days or maybe even a week it just means that I’m either not unpacked yet or I haven’t gotten internet connection at my new pad.
Ya’ll don’t miss me too much whilst I’m away. Much Love.

Do you have someone that is an outdoors men? Do you know someone that enjoys to hunt, fish, or do any other type of outdoor sport? With any outdoor sport you need a really good pair of binoculars. Binoculars are great for when you are hunting so you are able to see the prey far off. Some really great binoculars that I’ve found people really love are nikon binoculars. These binoculars come in a great selection, low prices, and is backed by great customer service. Not only is their customer service superb but you can get free financing on items over $200.00.
I feel so awful right now. I have a serious head cold that hubby and the pnut so lovingly passed along. I hate it. I have 2 days left to pack and I’m sick as a dog. All I want to do is lay around. Being 7 mos pregnant doesn’t help things either because there isn’t much medicine that I’m allowed to take. I have 2 rooms left to pack and I only packed one box today. Sad I know, but I’m sick what am I to do? I mean whilst trying to make a lasagna today for supper I nearly passed out. I got so dizzy and hot that I had to sit down before I blacked out completely. I’ve been trying to take it easy but this sickness thing is going to get the best of me.

What a totally awesome idea this is. As some of you all may know, I started my own craft business not too long ago. I’ve been in the need of finding ways to market my business to get the word out there. I mean what is the point of having a business if no one ever buys anything from you. Here is where the brilliant idea comes in. There is a website that creates custom car stickers for you. You get to choose everything from the colors, to the size, to even the shape!!! Completely customizable by you! How great is that? I’m totally loving the idea. Right now there is just a little piece of paper that I stuck in the window of my car but how great would it be to have my own bumper sticker? Not only can they make you a bumper sticker but they can also make your address labels as well. For all of you that are just starting your small business, I firmly believe that this can be a great market tool for your business. Think about how often you are in your car or out and about doing things. Your car is like a moving billboard. Don’t miss out on this great advertising opportunity just because you never took the time to customize your very own car stickers. Make a couple and pass them out to all your friends and family. I’m sure they will help spread the word as well.

Beauty to me inside what is on the outside but what is on the inside. Beauty is in a moment. A flash, a glimmer, a glimse when you look at someone. Beauty is the look on my son’s face when he is sleeping. Beauty is being able to be a stay at home mom. Beauty is having an awesome, loving husband that takes care of me and the kids. Beauty is the everyday not the extraordinary. Beauty isn’t stuff but people and moments. People always say that it is on the inside that counts. It is so true. If you are pretty on the outside but have an ugly soul then you truly aren’t beautiful. Beauty resognates from the inside out. Once you have your inside beautified then you can focus on the outward appearance by jazzing up your outfits and wardrobe with awesome accessories. Make your outside appearance reflect the inside. Have fun with accessories. Let accesssories be a reflection of the personality within you.
