Product Review: Let’s Get Ready for Kindergarten!
When I heard that the PBN wanted some parents to review a getting ready for school program, I practically leaped through my computer screen to participate. My son who is 2 is all about learning right now. Even though he has a little over a year left until he is actually forced to go to kindergarten I knew he would enjoy learning some new concepts before his big day.

Upon flipping through the book the concepts covered are you pretty basic kindergarten material. Letters, numbers, shapes, colors, opposites, seasons, shapes, as well as likes and differences. My son pretty much had most of the material down before we received the book but he truly enjoys sitting down with mommy for some knowledge reinforement. It was great to see how much he knew to begin with and how each day we sat down with the book he would pick up something different. It is never to early to start teaching them and I’m thankful to have this book to have some “mommy and me teaching time” instead of just sticking him in front of the television. There is no better feeling than seeing your childs face light up when he finally “gets it”. They are so proud to show you the colors, say their letters, and count their toys for you. I’m glad to have the peace of mind now knowing that my son won’t be the child that is “behind” in kindergarten because he never went to daycare. I can’t wait to order the “Let’s Get Ready for First Grade” sequel to this book.
Also, PBN is giving away a free set of these books to one lucky blogger. Head on over to this post and leave your comment for submission. Good Luck!
A special thank you to the PBN and Stacey Kannenberg for allowing me to review this product.
