What the world eats…
So Time magazine is running a story right now to figure out what the world is eating. I found this story first at Food Chronicles. So you want to know what the world is eating? I snapped this photo of our overflowing grocery cart at the grocery store on our last bi-weekly trip.
If you rumaged through the buggy you would find that the contents inside would contain…
variety of cheeses
fresh fruits and vegetables
ice cream
Lots of meats from chicken to beef to fish
pasta
personal products such as toilet paper
baby formula all 16 cans of it
and much, MUCH more!!!
So I’m interested, what do you shop for??? Take a photo of the contents of your grocery cart either at the store or all layed out in the floor [or table, whatever you prefer] when you get home, write a blog post about it linking back here. If you aren’t going to the grocery store this week or any time soon then just take a picture of the contents of your ‘fridge, cubbards, or any other place where you store food. Describe your photos so we know what is in there. You put your cans at the bottom? lol I love Krogers! I wish I could participate but we won’t be shopping for a while. We’re going to be living with our parents come July 31st – August 15th then moving into our new place, so no heavy shopping for us! BUT I may go to Sams Club during those 15 days so then maybe I can write a post although it probably wouldn’t matter then! lol Click my name to view a post I wrote about grocery stores.
This does sound fun, but I too won’t be shopping for awhile we leave next Saturday the 7th and won’t be home until the 14th. I hope I remember to do this then!
