Hi there, I was just searching for a great blog to help me stay motivated with my new health and exercise regime and came across your blog. I know this post is old, but I had to say something because I hope you're not doing the whole "not eating anything until supper thing" anymore! From everything I've learned that's the worst thing you could do to your body. I used to NEVER eat breakfast because I wasn't hungry in the morning until I learned that by kick-starting your metabolism first thing you actually burn more calories throughout the day. You have to read this short article, it's great, and I revisit it often and reached my weight loss goal (12 lbs) a few weeks ago after 3 months of "smart" eating and an hour at the gym 3-4 times a week.

Being more hungry because your working out is your body telling you it needs fiber and protein to give you the energy you need to burn fat. I like eating a Kashi peanut butter granola bar an hour before working out. Or a piece of whole wheat toast. My "one hour free trainer" also said it's good to eat a hard-boiled egg in the morning for protein. My life changed when I threw the word "diet" out of my vocab and focused on smart eating.

Good luck! :)
