I like the book by Heartfelt Stories because they provide both a positive and encouraging message to children without coming off as preachy. Do you want to get your kids to brush their teeth not only properly but even at all? Read them the story about Toby Gets the Brush Off . Then after you have read the story you both can go into the bathroom and brush “toby”.
More Than a Spoonful teaches children that it is ok to be different. Everyone has their own abilities and talents. This is great book to read to the kids after they come home from having a rough day at school.
I love the positive messages that the Heartfelt Story books have in them. They are a great help in everyday life and helps us mothers out when we need an example but just can’t think of one.
