As many of you will recall, I lost a filling a while back in one of my teeth. Well, since my parents were so concerned with me having a big gaping hole in mouth, as well they should be since they financed two sets of braces for me when I was a child, they agreed to help me get my tooth fixed. I am so thankful even though I am starting to feel the pain right about now.

Why is it when they dope you up on the “happy gas” and pump your mouth full of numbing medication do they feel the need to ask you fifty milion questions? All I can remember is that the dentist told me to & I quote “breathe in deep” with the happy gas. Well, my friend, I did just that. I was sucking down that happy gas so hard I was floating on cloud nine. Literally I could not feel my hands they were so numb. I think I was supposed to be doped up but I didn’t think that I would be THAT doped up. At least I’ve never been that doped up on happy gas in the past with previous fillings.

I’ll tell you one thing, the happy gas makes you say some pretty funny stuff. I had the dental hygenist rolling after making comments about the season finale of the Real Housewives of Orange County. Lets just say that the chick that got married, geez has she had some work done. ha ha.

Also, when the dental hygenist was reading my records she was all like “Oh wow you haven’t been here since 2004!” I was like yeah well…”I got married, had two kids, moved to Oklahoma and Back, my husband lost his job and we almost go a divorce”…Ok, so I didn’t say that last part but the first part I did say. Her reaction was first…”Wow, You’ve had two kids!” Which made me feel good in this stretched out fat body of mine and second “so, you’ve been busy, huh?”. LOL Ya Think.

Well, I have been up since 5:30 this morning to which makes this day seem as if it has been the longest day in history. My face is not numb anymore and my tooth is starting to feel weird, well mainly where I got the shots. BTW, it wasn’t as bad as everyone anticipated. All he did was drill a little bit and fill the whole with new filling. I feel brand spankin’ new! :D
