Or, if I'm cooking or doing laundry, I give them empty pots and pans and cooking utensils, or a small empty laundry basket and some dish towels, so that they can help. Outdoors: Alyssa is good to walk on her own with us and hang around. Ryan is a huge pain in the butt. He just wants to RUN, and wander. So I wear him, or we use a stroller, or his preferred method: the dread, evil toddler harness. Ryan likes the harness best of all, because he can still roam around.
