Semi-Wordless Wednesday: San Diego Zoo

23 April 2008 4 Comments Disclosure

San Diego ZooSince I am now the proud owner of a Sony Alpha a300, it is time for me to get back into the Wordless Wednesday game. This week is a semi-wordless wednesday because I feel the need to explain the photo to your left.

We took a trip to the San Diego Zoo while in California for the Sony Mommy Blogger Event. We were in the Ape/Monkey section when this one particular Ape was pretty sick of all the people taking his photograph. So being the ape that he is, he walks right up to the glass gets on all fours and points his butt right up to the glass window!!! How funny is that. It was if he was saying “So you wanna take my picture, do ya? Well take a picture of this! *shoves butt up to glass”.

Animals are so funny!

there is a gorilla at the NC zoo that every time you raise your camera to take a picture of him, he slides his hand over his face and hides. i thought it was just a fluke until i saw he did it to everyone that raised a camera to take his picture.

Hubs….ROFL, I’m sorry I had to do you like that, Bay, but geeze get to shavin’!

Nikki….there was a similar monkey at the zoo that would do the same thing. I’ll have to write a story about him too!

Get this and chizel it in stone, cause it don’t happen very often, your daddy (aka “world’s greatest photographer”) showed me just your duck pictures and said “They’re better than mine!” O K you can get up off the floor now.

After I regained consciousness, I went to your website and looked at the San Diago Zoo pictures and I thought they were all awesome. Some photographer are you! Keep up the good work and always remember I’m always in need of more kidlet pictures.
