I am so glad that so many people have decided to join me in this 30-Day fitness challenge. We have 16 33 people joined so far which is a total of $16 $33 in the pot that is up for grabs to the “biggest loser”. Don’t forget the Senseo Coffeemaker that I am also giving away along with the money pot.
Some of you want to know what you need to do now. Well today is weigh in day. I need everyone to comment with their starting weight and their goal weight. Also if you have twitter list your twitter url as well as a blog url if you have one (I have some of your blog urls if you submitted in the comments earlier but if I don’t have an url for you then put one down in your comment).
Next week, I will show you how to calculate your percentage of weight lost. Also here is a button you guys can snag and put on your websites if you would like. I will keep the competition open for the remainder of the day so if you know anyone that might be interested in joining send them over here.

I’d like to join. I’ve sent in my $3 so all set on that end. My daughter would like to join also so sending her $3 too.
my current weight is 269 and by the end of 30 days I’d like to lose 10-15 lbs. I think that is doable since I have so much to lose. My email and website are listed above.
my daughters (miranda) current weight is 207 and her goal for 30 days is also 10 lbs.

My “Diet”: vegetarian. Lots of fruits and vegetables and organic when I can help it.

I lost 80 lbs after having my son … good luck! Really, I mean it … Domestic Diva’s plan sounds perfect! Throw in some cottage cheese though, you’ll need the protein.

Oooh, I would love to participate but unfortunately I’m coming down off a particularly nasty stomach bug and my energy and motivation is precisely ZERO, lol. Word to the wise - gastro has a positive effect on weight but the side affects are FAR, FAR worse than the traditional method of losing weight!
I’d love to see you repeat the challenge next month though - would that be possible? I’m in a rut and clearly need some extra help.

Plan: I went Veg (but wil eat meat) and would like to stick to it. Exercise in some way every day and no night time binging.

Ideal Weight 145 pounds
I plan on doing a variation of lean protein/low carb plus added exercise. (I lost 45 pounds doing this last fall, but put about 30 of it back in the past 3 months! NOOO!) Additionally I have added intense training for a (half) marathon in October with Team in Training.
