Many of you may recall a recent blog post mentioning the fact that I had the opportunity to try out a new shampoo/conditioner with Walmart at a local salon while in Bentonville, AR. What this mystery shampoo/conditioner is? I have no idea. I don’t even know what the name of the product is. Every time the product is mentioned it is simply a “?”.

I can not rant and rave enough about this new mystery shampoo that will be revealed sometime in November. You will have to stay tuned here to find out more about this product as the launch date nears.

I am so excited to finally have some of this product in my own home that I can’t wait till you are able to try it out for yourself as well. This stuff is like magic in a bottle. My hair hasn’t felt this good in forever!

There is one thing about being a work at home parent, especially one that blogs, that probably isn’t mentioned very much is the fact that your children pick up on everything that you do. My son knows how to work the computer extremely well for a three-year old. He saw mommy making her famous “metoday videos” earlier and wanted to try his hand at making his own.

For those of you that do not understand the “Pnut language” I’ve added translation on the timeline to interpret what he says.

I must say he did an amazing job. It is funny to see how he views me by the way that he mimics me. I love that he says he is “the domestic diva” and that he is “one of the elevenmoms for walmart“. He is too smart! It looks like we might have a future vloggist on our hands. I might begin to get a little worried that he might steal my job (maybe I’ll just pass down the website to him…hee hee).

I love doing MeTodays but haven’t done one in a very long while so I thought I would get back into the spirit of things and hopefully get back into one of my favorite internet projects by recording one with my laptop camera. In this MeToday video you will hear me discuss my involvement with the Walmartians & Eleven Moms Project, my meeting with Paula Deen, and a new hair color for me.

Many of you may recall my announcement last week for the Eleven Moms chat. Now I realize that this was on a weekday in the middle of the day so some of you might not have been able to join us or as some of you contacted me about you just had trouble trying to figure out how to get in there to chat with us. Well never fear, I have some photos to share with you while I was in the live chat at Rockfish Interactive. So you can have a sneak peak at what it looks like to participate in an Online LIVE chat with 6 awesome ladies.

As you can see we had a lot of fun participating in our online chat. It was kind of stressful in the beginning but as we all got more comfortable it became a breeze. In fact, I actually ran out of questions to answer several times.

Aside from seeing the new action flick Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull [Blu-ray] that came out today on both Blu-ray and DVD, my brother is incredibly jealous that I got to meet and see Harrison Ford at the Walmart Saturday Morning meeting. Many of you have emailed or @replied to me on twitter wanting to know what Harrison Ford was doing at a Walmart Saturday Morning Meeting and the simple answer is that he was there to promote his new DVD release of Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. All of the Eleven Moms were ubber excited to catch a glimpse of this handsome man, I on the other hand had better things to focus on like when I was going to see Paula Deen but that is a different blog post all together.

For those who have not seen Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull it is a definite must-see whether you rent it or buy it for a die-hard Indiana Jones fan. Everyone loves the action scenes yet we all still wonder how he manages to hang from his whip and keep that hat on his head at all times. As Harrison Ford disclosed in his interview at the Walmart Saturday Morning Meeting it is all “movie magic” or as I’d like to think he is just cool like that.

I Want That!

Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull [Blu-ray] hit DVD shelves today. I couldn’t think of a better holiday gift for that die-hard fan that this DVD to add to his collection. Go check it out!

From the moment we walked in the door on Thursday morning, we were instantly bombarded by a camera crew ready and waiting to film our experience with a “secret shampoo”. I must admit the four of us, Jenn, Tara, Christine, and myself, were caught off guard by the film crew and I’m pretty sure we looked like deer in headlights as “some dude” explained what we were doing in the salon. Christine and Jenn were up first to get their hair shampooed and conditioned with the new mystery product. They were filmed left and right while Tara and I sat in the lounge area explaining what we do to the “higher ups”.

Once everything was taped that needed to be taped, it was then Tara and my turn to go be in front of the lights. I don’t know about everyone else but this was my first time being filmed by a real camera crew and I must say it was a little nerve racking. I did the best I could do without being prepared in any way and went on my merry way.

But onto this mystery product. What is it? Well that isn’t exactly something that I know. We weren’t allowed to know anything about the product. No names, no ingredients, no nothing. All they did for our “makeover” was had a stylist shampoo/condition our hair with this new product then styled it for us, thrust a camera in our faces and asked us what we thought of the product. To be completely honest I really did love the product. My hair is very dry and damaged due to the fact that I am constantly coloring and using heat to style it properly. The new mystery shampoo and conditioner left my hair extremely light feeling and incredibly smooth. Actually now that I am back home, I find myself yearning to have some of that product sitting in my shower waiting for me to use it, but I must wait. The smelled great which is something that any of the eleven mommy bloggers will tell you.

After our makeovers we felt very confident with our new sleek hairdo’s. Many of the mommy bloggers hair stayed looking fabulous for several days since we had very little time to actually get a shower worked into our hectic schedule.

So, besides the cameras throwing us off our game a little bit, my overall opinion of this new product line is fantastic and I can’t wait to get a couple bottles of this stuff for daily use to see how it really works without the aid of a professional stylist!
