I didn’t take a whole lot of photos this week. I’ve been gardening all week not really feeling like picking up the camera. But it is Fotografi Friday and in the quest of taking more photos, I have posted what I thought would be good Fotoagrafi Friday worthy photographs. Let me know what you think.

I made this soup a couple weeks back and it was a huge hit with my family. I was so surprised when my children gobbled it up and hubby went back for seconds, which is very unusual since they typically won’t touch soup at all.
Chicken Soup Ingredients:
1 cornish hen
3 whole ribs of celery
5 peeled carrots halved
1 whole medium white onion, peeled
8 cups of water
1 TBSP thyme
1 tsp salt
1 tsp black pepper
Corn starch & water
Parsley for garnish

I finally got some time today to sit down with my favorite photo editing program, Gimp, and edit some photos that I’ve taken over the last several months. I won’t lie and say that I haven’t missed my photography but life has been so hectic that I rarely pick up my camera anymore. Ingredients:
1 egg
1 pkg Jiffy cornbread mix
1/2 cup milk
1 1/2 cup frozen corn
1 tbsp sugar
Directions:
Preheat oven 450°F
Place cast iron skillet in oven as it preheats.
Combine egg, Jiffy mix, and milk in a mixing bowl. Fold in frozen corn.
Remove cast iron skillet from oven, careful it will be extremely hot. Spray witn non-stick cooking spray.
Pour cornbread batter into hot skillet. Sprinkle sugar on top.
Bake in oven for approximately 20-25 minutes or until top is nice …
