3 Cheers for Disney Pixars UP
Before a couple of weeks ago, I nor my family had ever seen the movie Up (4 Disc Combo Pack with Digital Copy and DVD) [Blu-ray]. But thanks to Click Communications for giving me a copy of the DVD my family and I were able to have a family movie night at home to experience the wonder that is Disney Pixar’s UP.
I remember when the movie came out in theatres and how badly I wanted to see it then but what prevented me from going was the cost of movie tickets. To take a family of 4 to the movies, with popcorn & drinks…well let’s just say it gets to be pretty pricey. So we always just opt to wait until the movie comes out on DVD to either rent or buy. It’s just one of those ways that we as a family like to try and save money.
Well after such a long wait, Disney Pixar’s UP finally hit DVDs last week. I was so excited to have my family see this movie. So we cooked a pizza, popped some popcorn, and grabbed our favorite drinks. Found a comfy spot on the sofa and watched the movie.

Let me just say, it was definitely worth the wait. Disney Pixar’s Up was very funny to us. I don’t think I’ve laughed this much at a movie in a while. My husband has officially proclaimed this movie as being his favorite movie of all time. And for those that are wondering what his favorite movie was before hand, it was “the Lion King” (don’t ask).

We have watched UP more times in the past week than I think we have ever watched a single movie before. The whole family just really loves this movie and we don’t mind watching it more than once :P
To tell you a little bit about the combo pack available for Disney Pixar’s UP. In the combo pack it comes with a Digital Copy, DVD, as well as a Blu-Ray copy of the movie. I personally love when movies come with Digital Copies because this allows me to upload the movie to my iPhone and take it with me whenever I feel the need to have a movie “on-hand”.
Have you seen the movie: Disney Pixar’s UP?
If so I would love to know your favorite part or character in the movie, leave your answers in the comment section of this post.
To answer the question, personally: My favorite character, by far, was Kevin. He was just so hilarious.
Funny Story: My oldest sons favorite character is Kevin as well. When the Wienermobile came to our house to pick us up for a ride, my oldest son insisted on calling the “lady hotdogger” Kevin like as in the name of the bird from UP. LOL I have no idea why but we all thought it was pretty funny.
Disclosure: this post is sponsored by Click Communications. An advanced copy of the DVD, UP!, was given to me to help in writing this post.

i loved this movie we actually went to the movies to see, with all 4 kids… it was a treat to take them but me and my hubby loved the romantic side of the movie…it was so unexpected in a kids movie but truely it was a special movie… its on our christmas list… we always buy 3 or 4 movies for the whole family for christmas.
@Vanessa Delgado, I know what you mean. It was such a touching story. I hope my husband and I feel the same way about each other when we are old and grey :)
I took my kids to see UP in the theater a month or two back. We paid just $2 apiece, since the theater plays movies that are done in the other theaters but not quite out on DVD yet. Anyway, we loved the movie. It was so cute!
@Jenn, we have a theater like that around here but its a town away so we don’t get to go to it as often as I would like…too much driving not enough time, that sort of thing. Anyway, glad you liked the movie. We all thought it was SUPER cute. Definitely one of our favs.

This week in Momertainment:
Weather in my town has been crazy. For the longest time it seemed all the weather knew what to do was rain. All. The. Time. Then all of a sudden winter decided to show her head making it crazy cold here in the south.
With all of the crazy weather happenings lately, its only fitting that I recently received an advance copy of Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs (Single-Disc Edition) to review. I remember seeing the previews for this movie when it first hit the theaters …

In My Beauty Bag:
I was recently approached by a representative for Sheer Cover who wanted me to write a story about my experience with the brand on my blog. With the kit that they sent me, I got to work testing it out. I don’t mind being a guinea pig when it comes to makeup ^_^. Several weeks later, I’m ready to share my experience.
At first I must admit that Sheer Cover was a bit strange or foreign to me. I am not at all a new user of …
