Having a Glowing Good Time (Day 50/365)

19 February 2010 8 Comments Disclosure

Today we had another meeting with our homeschooler’s group and I must say that I am liking this group a little more each activity that we attend. We went to a local glow in the dark putt-putt golf place and played. It was so much fun! I’ve never played a round of putt-putt in a glow in the dark atmosphere before. It was very interesting and now I can cross it off of my list.

50/365: Glow in the Dark Putt-Putt Golf

For those of you that know me well, you know that I love to play a game of putt-putt. This is the one activity that no matter what vacation we go on, typically to the beach, we always have to find a place to play putt-putt. I can get pretty competitive with my husband when we play together but it always ends in nothing but smiles and laughter.

Outside of my blog and online stuff, one would be surprised to know that I’m a bit quiet in nature. Today I chatted with the other ladies in the group about my blog and what it is that I like to do in my spare time. I figured it had been a good while since I joined the group that it was time to let them know about the “Diva” side of me…LOL. I always find it weird talking about myself. Then again it is a bit hard to explain to someone that you write in your free time on a thing called a blog. A better way of explaining it I guess would be that I’m quiet but make a lot of noise on the internet? But none the less the ladies seemed enthusiastic about what I do. So hooray for making new friends!

I’m so excited about our next meeting that I can hardly stand it. This is exactly what the kidlets and I needed.

Glad you and the kids had fun! My husband took me to play glow in the dark putt putt golf on our very first date in Orlando, FL. It was the only time I’ve ever been… but it was tons of fun!
