This week on W.E.B.: Re-purposed Crayons, Crockpot Oatmeal, Homemade Soap, & Waxed Leaves
Hey guys!! Welcome to our second week of W.E.B., a weekly series where I share some link love of my favorite read & loved articles on the internet. This week must have been a slow week with it being Thanksgiving and many people stepping away from the computer to spend time with their families. With that being said there aren’t many links to share with you today but I do hope you enjoy reading the few mentioned below:
Art Every Day: Re-purposed Crayons: got a box of broken, worn out crayons and don’t know what to do with them. Well, before you toss them check out my blogging friend Sheena. She has an idea for turning those old crayons into some new, fun, and ready to use again.
Crockpot Oatmeal by MckMama: what a wonderful idea! oatmeal in the crockpot overnight = waking up to breakfast already cooked for you. I might start eating breakfast in the mornings after learning this trick.
Homemade Soap from Confessions of a Homeschooler: I’ve always been fascinated by the idea of making my own things. Making my own soap is definitely on my list of things to try.
Waxing Leaves to make a beautiful Garland: I know with Thanksgiving being behind us and all now that we are thinking so much about Fall as we are more about Winter and the holidays. Still, I thought this craft of waxing leaves to turn into a window garland was too cute not to save. Who knows? Maybe we will remember to do this next year. Love the idea.
I hope you all had a fabulous Thanksgiving break.
