Meal Solution:  Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo

There is no denying that I’m a pasta-holic. I love the stuff but often I find myself in a dinner rut making the same pasta dishes over and over like the go-to spaghetti with homemade sauce or the kids favorite homemade mac and cheese.

This week’s meal solution is a quick and easy pasta dish that isn’t what we normally have for dinner….and I love that! While I love Fettuccine Alfredo when I visit my favorite Italian restaurant here …

French Toast (recipe)

One of my favorite dishes to make on a rainy day is warm french toast. Since we have had SO much rain lately, I thought I would share with you guys how we make french toast at my house.

French Toast

2 eggs
¼ cup milk
½ tsp cinnamon
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 tbsp brown sugar
¼ tsp ground nutmeg
8 pieces of sandwich bread (use your favorite, white, wheat, texas toast, etc.)

Combine all ingredients in a shallow bowl, big enough for a piece of bread …
