I Can’t Stop Cutting (Obsessed with 80’s Style Tshirts)

I’m a child of the 80’s, it runs through my blood. I’m a fan of 80’s music and most of all a fan of the 80’s style. Neon colors, leggings, flats, chucks, and even a scrunchy or two. I love it all!

In honor of the 80’s fashion, I’ve taken the scissors to some of my old t-shirts. Do you remember the style of the off the shoulder look? It’s really easy to create. All one has to do is cut the natural neckline of the t-shirt off, pull (the cut neck of the shirt) in either direction to create “the curl”, and there ya go, a quick and easy way to add a new look to an old tee.

I love doing this to old tshirts that I’ve had for years but the 80’s fun doesn’t stop there. T-shirts that my husband has ruined for whatever reason have been reclaimed (and not thrown in the trash) making a great addition to my closet.

What do you think of the 80’s?

I love to do that anddddddd I love to make pillows out of old tee shirts. I cut off them into rectangle or squares and sew them up and stuff them and some times I use my old jewelry from the 80's and 90's to add some bling to them and then I use them for pillows in our guess bedrooms. Everyone loves them. Kind of tells a story of your past. I've also done that with my kids shirts from when they were little and they loved them. Also make neckroll pillows with old jeans. Goes great with the tee shirt pillows.

Okay i'll stop rambling now hehehehehe. ~ Mija
