Humidity & Curly Hair

Humidity. I definitely wouldn’t say that humidity is my friend and where I live it is unavoidable especially in the heat of the summer. As a curly girl, I’m at a bit of a struggle trying to tame the frizz of the summer months. Aside from wearing a ponytail or a messy bun, the fight to tame the frizz still battles on.

I mentioned earlier that I’m doing the curly girl method and embracing my natural curls. I’ve fought them long enough with a straight iron. While I do admit that it is a lot easier getting dressed in the morning knowing that I don’t have to do much to my hair other than let it air dry, the frizz is really getting to me.

I wish everyday I could wake up and have that beachy wave look but it seems it’s going to be a never ending battle to try and find the right products to do the job right. The curly girl method while I’m still in love with the concept is a bit trying at times, especially when looking for new products to try that meet the requirements (mainly no silicones).

I’m curious though….

Are you a curly girl?

What products do you use? How do you tame the frizz?

But don’t fear. I’m determined to continue with my curly hair and hopefully one day will find the products that work just right for my hair.

I like curly hair so much. But taking care of curly hair is very hard job and it become harder in summer. But the curly hairs look very nice on any shape of face. Certainly you will get suitable product for your curly hair.

I'm sure I will too, it's just a matter of figuring out what works best for my hair. Since curly is a bit foreign for me right now after years of having straight hair I know I'm just going through a learning stage.
