Going Back to School with Crayola (sponsored)

31 July 2011 No Comment Disclosure

I recently mentioned how I’m just not quite ready to hit the homeschool books just yet but recently Walmart sent me some new Crayola products to try out that look like they just might get us into the school spirit. It’s funny how new school supplies can get one excited about the upcoming school year.

We’ve recently been setting up our new homeschool room for this year (which I’ll reveal very soon) and I can’t wait to start using the Crayola Dry-Erase Crayons during our school day. When testing them out, I thought the crayons were a pretty cool tool to use. They glide on smooth on the white board yet won’t easily get smudged off of the board like an ordinary white board marker would. The erase mitt makes erasing a lot easier.

Speaking of boards, the Dual-Sided Dry-Erase board by Crayola is neat in the fact that it has two sides to work on, a light side and a dark side. When working with lighter Crayola Dry-Erase Crayons, the dark side of the Dual-Sided Dry-Erase board offers a fun and different perspective.

Out of all the new Crayola Dry-Erase board, the Crayola Dry-Erase Activity Center will probably be the one that we are most likely going to be using the most. With my oldest son and his daily handwriting practice, the Activity Center is definitely going to be a different and fun way to learn writing. The Activity Center comes with a set of different sheets of paper that can be changed out depending on what activity one wants to do. Also one can make their own activity sheet or print additional free pages from crayola.com. The best part is that because this Activity Center is a Dry-Erase board as well each activity sheet can be used countless times.

Lastly, we can’t forget about my little one. While big brother studies hard, little one needs a “school” activity of his own to do. The Crayola 3D Dry-Erase Activity Set is the Crayola Dry-Erase Board my little one loves the best. He loves the colors and neat designs. He likes to “practice” just like his big brother.

What I liked about all of these products by Crayola is the portability. With the start of the school year just around the corner there are without a doubt going to be days we need to travel whether it be to a playdate, a school field trip, or just down to the park. The Crayola Dry-Erase products can easily pack up in a child’s backpack so they can easily take them with them. And I don’t have to worry too much about them making a mess since the Crayola Dry-Erase crayons are waterproof!!

What is your favorite Crayola product?
