I’ve been looking for something to make my house smell warm and inviting for what seems like forever. Candles, plugins, those diffuser reed things. I’ve tried just about everything but nothing has held up for longer than a week. Candles can become expensive and we never smelled their scent until after we blew the candle out. Plugins took up too much of my outlet space. And the reed diffusers just couldn’t handle the room size. When I’m looking for something to make my home smell amazing, I want something that I can actually smell since I’m the one that is going to be in this space more often than guests.

On my recent trip to Bentonville with Walmart (as a Walmart Mom), I found out about these things called Wax Warmers. I had never heard of them before but they looked very interesting. Since I live in a house of all boys, I’ll try just about anything to have my house smell nice.

Well last week I got that chance. I was provided samples of the Better Homes and Gardens Wax Warmer line of products from Walmart. I couldn’t wait to plug these things in. I chose to have one upstairs in the kitchen the central location of our house and one in the basement a.k.a. the Mom Cave/Homeschool Room. The first scents we tried were Spiced Pumpkin Pie upstairs (because ya’ll know I love some pumpkin) and Warm Crackling Campfire downstairs. Oh my goodness my house smells like fall! I was amazed that these small vase like warmers with a simple light bulb inside were able to fill the majority of the house with fragrance. When going from the upstairs to the downstairs of our house you can definitely smell the different scents on each floor. And it isn’t like I need to use the entire case of wax cubes, just one cube does it.

I went to my local Walmart to check out what scents and other warmers were available. I was amazed to see that the warmers themselves are very reasonably priced at around $15 with the wax cubed scents at around $2. I’ve recently heard of other brands that sell theirs for a lot more. These are such a good deal that I’m highly considering these as Christmas gifts this year!!!

Have you ever tried a Wax Warmer?
