I mentioned earlier that we just started our first year of baseball, so for the past couple of weeks we’ve been busy getting used to our new schedule. Between all the running around, practices, sign-ups, and trying to get the house in some sort of order I feel like I haven’t had much time to sit down and hang out for a bit. I knew I needed to find some time, somewhere, to take care of my manicure as I looked down at my nails and saw my chipped nail polish that hadn’t been redone in several weeks.
I was asked by a representative for Kiss if I would like to try out some new nail care products. I’m a beauty junkie so I couldn’t resist. The various Kiss products are some nail products that I’ve had my eye on for a while now anyways. So when the package arrived in the mail one afternoon I was excited to give them a try right away.
I only had a few minutes between finishing up homeschool and heading out the door to take the kidlets to baseball practice, so I chose the
ImPress kit to try out first.
I was a little hesitant about the ImPress Manicure Kit being a “press on” nail kit. Thinking back to press on nails of the 80’s that would immediately fall off after you applied them, I wondered: “Will these really stay on?”.
Time to give them the test. After removing my old, chipped polish I followed the simple instructions to apply the ImPress nails. I was surprised at how simple it was. What I loved about the ImPress nails were that there was NO GLUE to mess with. Just like the video above said all one has to do is peel off the backing and apply. I loved that I was able to transform my drab manicure to a fab one in as little as 10-15 minutes.
It’s been about several days now since I applied the ImPress manicure to my nails. I’ve practiced baseball with my son, typed, cleaned, did the laundry, cooked, and washed dishes. I’m surprised that my manicure has held up so well. On the fourth day though, laundry proved to be too much for one of the nails and it came off. So at that point I decided to remove all of the nails.
I like the ImPress nails for myself and can see using them at times when I don’t have the time to sit down and paint my own nails or when I’m trying to grow my natural nails out. I like that they are a budget friendly alternative to visiting a salon.
