I was given the challenge by Walmart (as a part of being a Walmart Mom) to see if I could put together a Father’s Day gift idea for Dad. I opted to do a gift idea centered around Dad’s favorite sport. So with the giftcard provided, I went to my local store to see what I could find….
- MLB Men’s Watch- $10.00
- Hat- $15.00
- #1 Dad T-shirt- $5.48
- 2 Pk. Baseballs- $3.97

Turn a Baseball into a Father’s Day Keepsake for Dad
Instead of a regular card this year, like I mentioned in the video, we decided to do something a bit different. I picked up a couple of baseballs at Walmart to use for our “keepsake for Dad”. With a permanent marker, the kidlets can write notes to Dad on the ball. I think it’s a nice little memento to have “Father’s Day 2012” written in the center of the ball with the names of all the kidlets written in their own handwriting. Plus it is a very unexpected surprise tucked away in Dad’s Father’s Day gift bag.
Have you bought Dad a Father’s Day gift yet? What do you think the Dad in your life would like to get for Father’s Day?
