Mrs. Meyers Clean Day
While I like to pride myself in my domestic abilities, I’m not one that loves to clean house. While cleaning is a life necessity especially in a household of all boys, simply put cleaning is usually on my least-favorite list of things to do. However, I do often times go through spurts where I go on a cleaning & de-cluttering frenzy several times throughout the year. Spring cleaning time and around this time of year, the beginning of school, are typically when I’m at my most excited to clean. I can pretty much count on the cleaning bug to bite me whenever the seasons change.
I’ve been working on de-clutter our downstairs since school began several weeks ago. With the throwing out of the old, I want our “new” spruced up space to sparkle and shine. This only comes with a good scrub down most of the time. During our recent cleaning frenzy we switched out our old cleaning products for a different brand that Walmart sent to us called Mrs. Meyers. I’ve heard of Mrs. Meyers cleaning products, I’ve even seen them in my local Walmart before but until now, have never tried them.
Immediately when I started using these products what I noticed the most was the smell. Lemon Verbena and Lavendar were the scents of these products but they weren’t overpowering. I didn’t feel like I had to open all the windows in the house just to do a quick clean of the bathroom. They smelled really nice and fresh which I liked. I’ve tried several cleaning products throughout the years. Mrs. Meyers is up there with a few of my favorites as the best smelling for sure.
Out of the various Mrs. Meyers products that we tried, I did have a few favorites. The liquid hand soap is one of the most used Mrs. Meyers product in our house. While the Mrs. Meyer’s product that surprised me the most was their Liquid Laundry Detergent. We do a TON of laundry in this house. I was very surprised to find out that one, very small, bottle contains enough detergent to wash 68 loads of laundry!!! The Mrs. Meyer’s Liquid Laundry Detergent is 4X’s concentrated
which means you only need about 1 tbsp per load of laundry. I don’t know about you but I’m used to using a lot more detergent than that so it does take a bit of time to adjust to using very little detergent.
Overall, I think Mrs. Meyer’s, with their inviting scent, are great products to use for everyday clean up jobs.
The packaging is perfectly sized and convenient to use. What I loved the most about Mrs. Meyers cleaning products were all of the hints and tips they offer for cleaning
, many of which are printed right on the bottle.
Walmart carries about 10 Mrs. Meyer’s products in select local stores but if you can’t find them in your local store, don’t worry, walmart.com carries about 50 Mrs. Meyer’s products online
Have you tried any of Mrs. Meyer’s products before?
What Mrs. Meyers product is your favorite?
