Homeschool Update: Winter Break

20 December 2012 No Comment Disclosure

We made it!!!! Today was the first day of our winter break and it is a very welcomed day indeed. I can’t believe how fast these last few months have flown by. It seems like just last week we began our adventure of homeschooling two boys. While we’ve had some ups and downs, I think the year has gone pretty well thus far. I love seeing how much my boys have learned since August.

The last few weeks have been very busy to say the least. Last minute holiday plans, finishing up mid-year tests, and turning in assignments have kept our schedules packed. I don’t know who is more excited about having the next two weeks, me or the kidlets.

Our oldest kidlet turned 8 this week. Eeek!

So what are our plans for winter break? The great part is nothing. Just spending time with family and re-energizing ourselves for the new year is our top priority right now.

As quickly as our winter break has come I know it will be over in a blink of an eye and we’ll be hitting the books again before we know. So we are going to try our best to enjoy this time that we have now.

What are your plans for winter break?
