So I just realized that I totally forgot to share my Beauty Favorites in August. I guess that is what happens when you are busy doing the whole “back to (home)school” thing. Oh well, this month I’m sharing my favorite nail care products! I don’t know about you but I love when I finally get some time to do my nails. So I thought I would share some of my favorite nail products I’ve used over the years.
First is my all time favorite Top Coat, Seche Vite. My polish always seems to last a bit longer whenever I’ve sealed it with this Top Coat.
Next up, is Sally Hansen Salon Effects. I have used these quite a bit and whenever I do I always get great compliments on my nails. I mostly use these for the patterns since they can be a bit difficult to try and recreate myself. With Sally Hansen Salon Effects they make it easy to have a patterned manicure, accent nail, or french tips.
When it comes to polish there is one polish that seems to hold up pretty well and that is Essie. Some of my favorite Essie colors of all time are: Power Clutch and Carry On. No Place like Chrome is a color I’ve been hearing a lot about lately and it’s currently on my “need to buy” beauty list.
Next up it’s the beauty trend that doesn’t look to be going anywhere anytime soon and that is Gel manicures. Gel Manicure DIY at-home kits are still pretty new on the market. So there still isn’t a whole lot to choose from. My favorite is the Sally Hansen Insta-Gel Strips Kit because like I mentioned before with the Sally Hansen Salon Effects I like that the strips allow me to apply a pattern to my nails myself without having to visit a salon. Since DIY Gel Manicures are still fairly new, there aren’t a lot of nail colors to choose from in the gel polishes. Pattern + Lasting Power of a Gel Manicure= Beauty Favorite!
Last but not least, when it comes to get all of that fun nail art off your nails, I use Onyx Professional 100% Acetone Nail Polish Remover. This stuff is especially helpful when it comes to removing stubborn glitter polishes.
What are some of your favorite nail products?
