The Scent of the Holidays with Glade Candles
So, winter doesn’t “officially” start until December 21st, but have you stepped outside. Brrr! It’s cold out there! Needless to say I’m spending as much time indoors as I possibly can. It goes without saying that I’m a complete homebody during the winter. I love being surrounded by the warm comforts of home. And when it comes to making my home warm and cozy during these bitterly cold winter months, an inviting, relaxing scent usually does the trick.
The holidays are upon us with less that 10 days until (yes you just read that right TEN DAYS!!) Christmas. I’ve already shared with you all how I decorated my tree with burlap, added a little pink holiday touch to my home office, and a holiday beauty look perfect for your next holiday party. We have our Christmas tradition of cozy pajamas ready and took a few extra steps preparing our home for holiday guests. Needless to say the holidays are a busy time of year.
As a part of the Walmart Moms, I was sent some new candles by Glade that are currently available in Walmart stores. These candles are a part of their winter collection and only available for a limited time. I forgot how much I love candles. Candles are so elegant with something so comforting about them. Scented candles are my favorite as I love how the room is filled with fragrance as you use them. I love how lighting a candle can just change the mood of a room, too. Relax during a bubble bath after a long day, add comfort to the kitchen, or a bit of elegance to dinner just by lighting a candle.
During the holidays there is a particular scent that I especially love and that is the smell of Christmas trees. We’ve always had an artificial tree in our home during the holidays so getting that fresh tree smell in our home via candles is a holiday tradition by itself. The scent of Glade’s Sparkling Spruce just reminds me of the holidays and the smell of a real Christmas tree. I loved adding Glade’s Apple Cinnamon Cheer candle to my kitchen counter as it smells like apple pie (which matches perfectly with our country apple themed kitchen). And for the coffee table in front of the couch in my office, Glade’s Frosted Berry Kiss makes this whole room smell like holiday time. These 3 scents by far were my personal favorites but Glade also has other scents available for the holidays like: Merry Maple Morning (a Walmart Exclusive) which would pair great with Christmas Morning’s Pancake Breakfast and Pure Vanilla Joy. Each scent in Glade’s Winter Collection is available at Walmart for $2.98.
What is your favorite holiday scent?
