I thought it was time for another nail look. My nails were looking pretty bare so I needed to get some color on them soon. My nails are less likely to break when I have polish on them so I try and keep them painted. I’ve seen a huge trend in nails recently. Lots of nude nail looks have been catching my eye so I thought I would do a nude nail with a twist. If you’ve been following my blog, you’d know that I love my sparkle so of course I had to have some sparkle somewhere in my nail look.
This weeks color’s are a few new products that I recently picked up at the drugstore. I’m noticing all of the fun, pastel spring shades starting to hit the store shelves and it just makes me wish for warmer weather. Nude nails may be on trend right now, but I didn’t want to go with a typical flesh tone nude. So I opted for a pinky nude instead. I have pink undertones to my skin naturally so this compliments my skin tone well. And of course, I picked out a matching sparkly shade to paint my accent nails with.
Nail Colors of the Week:
- Sinful Colors- 1031 Bare
- Sinful Colors- 1371 Glittery In Pink
- Sally Hansen No Chip Acrylic Top Coat
To get this nail look, first I applied two coats of Sinful Colors-Bare on all of my nails. Once my nails were dried, I then applied a coat of Sinful Colors- Glittery In Pink to my accent nails (my ring finger and thumb). Once that was completely dried, I then sealed it all with a new top coat that caught my eye at the drugstore, Sally Hansen’s No Chip Acrylic Top Coat. I was in need of a new top coat and this is very affordable so I thought I would try it out. Have you tried the No Chip top coat? What is your experience with it?
What’s on your nails this week?
