We all want to have sparkling, clean dishes in our cabinets. While hand washing is one way to achieve clean dishes, it is also time consuming. Thanks to modern technology there are wonderful machines called dishwashers that help us get the chore of dishes done faster. As busy Moms, often we don’t think much about the cleaning that takes place inside our dishwashers after they are loaded. But in order to get our dishes done faster, meaning not having to wash and then rewash later, there are two things to think about to ensure that sparkling, streak-free dishes come out shining every time: your rinse agent and detergent. These two “ingredients” are what makes our dishwasher clean and shine our dishes.
If you have ever been without a dishwasher for any length of time, you may have already realized how amazing this appliance really is. Our dishwasher is probably one of the most used appliances in our home. One thing I’ve learned while using our dishwasher is that various detergents and rinse agents do matter. They all yield different results.
As a part of the Walmart Moms, I was given the opportunity to try out a new dishwasher detergent available at Walmart called Finish Quantum Power and Free. This dishwasher detergent doesn’t come in a liquid or powder form but rather pre-measured tabs that are so easy to use. With pre-measured detergent tabs, like Finish Quantum Power and Free, one doesn’t have to worry about overfilling the detergent dispenser cup or storing a large, bulky, dishwasher detergent container under the sink. To use Finish Quantum Power and Free you simply place a single tab into the main detergent dispenser, close the lid, and start a dish washing cycle. Everything is done for you and only one tab is needed per load of dishes.
What makes Finish Quantum Power and Free different from other dishwasher detergents?
Besides the convenient packaging, Finish Quantum Power & Free offers a different kind of clean through the power of Hydrogen Peroxide. This means that is uses less harmful chemicals to clean and shine your dishes. With less dyes and fragrances, and no chlorine bleach one can really notice the clean result on glassware as it shines, like in the photo above of an old glass jar I washed in our dishwasher to try out this new dish washing detergent tab. The center Powerball acts as a pre-rinse inside the Power and Free tab breaking down the food messes stuck on dishes while the other ingredients are released at just the right time throughout your dish washing cycle. Overall, I’ve liked the shiny results I’ve seen on my own dishes and the ease of use while trying out the Finish Quantum Power and Free dishwasher detergent tabs. Finish Quantum Power and Free is available both online and in-stores at Walmart
