Changing the texture or feel of your skin can be a difficult task. The hardest part is finding the products that work best with you skin not against it. Often when it comes to beauty products there is a lot of trial and error. Some products work amazingly well with your skin while others just fall short. Not every one’s skin is the same which is why there are so many different skincare products on the market today. There IS something for everybody, it’s up to you to figure out what your skin type and texture is in order to find the products that work best with it.
I’ve tried all kinds of masks, scrubs, and moisturizers looking for that one product that would give my skin that smooth, soft feel. But in truth, a good skincare routine isn’t about finding just one product that will give your skin everything that it needs. Skincare is about multiple products that all work well together for your skin. And while I think I have a decent skincare routine down at the moment what I had been neglecting was a concentrated serum. There is something magical in a serum that gives your skin that extra boost that it needs.
I kind of miss the carefree days of my twenties. As I’m now in my thirties, I’m slowly beginning to see the signs and changes of aging. Thirty has not been very welcoming. With skincare my top priority, I’m determined to figure out what works best for my skin. A few months back, I stumbled upon the L’oreal’s Youth Code line of products at the drugstore. Immediately what drew me to the products was the cute packaging. Since there was a sale, I decided to give it a try with little hope that it would do much for my skin. I don’t have a lot of experience with serums and the few I have tried in the past seemed to do very little. Without seeing a noticeable different I sort of dismissed serums all together as being just an extra step that I didn’t really need. Little did I know, that I just hadn’t found the one that worked well with my skin type and tone. Enter the L’oreal Paris Youth Code Serum Intense.
It took several weeks before I noticed a difference. I washed my face like I normally would do and then directly after my shower I will apply the Youth Code Serum Intense and then follow it with my favorite moisturizer. But one day I noticed. I noticed the difference in the way that my skin felt. My cheeks felt smooth and soft. My complexion seemed a tad bit brighter as well. Smoothing my skins texture is what made me fall in love with this product, and I’m so glad that I gave it enough time to do it’s magic before giving up and totally dismissing it all together. The Youth Code Serum Intense completely changed my thoughts on serums. The original price of this product is a bit pricey for the drugstore but paired with a good sale, rewards, or coupons it could be a great deal to lookout for. Now that I know that this Youth Code Serum works well with my skin, I can’t help but be curious about the other products in the Youth Code line.
Have you tried any of the Youth Code products? Which are your favorites? What do you think of serums? Do you think they are worth it?
