If my DIY nail polish rack is any indication that I’m a bit obsessed with nail polish, then I don’t know what is. I was hit with the diy nail art bug several years ago and have been looking for new nail polishes to try ever since. Walmart approached me about trying out the NEW! Sally Hansen Triple Shine Nail Polishes as a part of the Walmart Moms and offered to send me some samples to try out for myself. I only have one other Sally Hansen Triple Shine polish in my collection, so it was interesting to see the various shades, finishes, and glitters available. I didn’t even know that the Sally Hansen Triple Shine line had a clear Top Coat!

When my box arrived, I was amazed at the color selection. These colors are gorgeous and the packaging is very sleek. But don’t let the square top fool you, it is just a protective cap that pulls off to reveal a regular round top underneath. The Patented Gloss-Tech brush on these polishes is wider than other nail polishes offered at the drugstore. I’m a bit on the fence about how I feel about the brush. On one hand it does allow me to apply the polish in fewer strokes but on the other it does at times distribute a lot of product at once. When using these polishes I have to remember to scrape off the excess polish back into the bottle before painting my nails. Also, I noticed that a light hand is best when applying the polishes to prevent streaking.

This new nail polish line, Sally Hansen Triple Shine, is now available in Walmart stores for $4.97 as well as online at Walmart.com. Unlike some other nail polishes, this polish is specifically formulated with the Ultimate Shield Complex that helps defend against dulling water and everyday wear. I love the bold colors and smooth shine that these polishes have. Part of what makes these nail polishes so shiny is that they contain natural crushed pearl and the colors are pure pigments from around the world. Other key ingredients that go into making these polishes are Pro-Vitamin B5, Vitamin E, Sea-Kelp extract, & Vinyl Silicone.

Now let’s talk about the colors. I have quite a few favorites from the samples that I tried out. I was amazed at how opaque Statemint, Dive In, and Pixie Slicks were as I was afraid that these were going to be very thin but that was not the case at all. With two coats these colors are vibrant, fun, and perfect for summer beach trips! The two glitters, Fanta-sea and Dream Sequins, were also among my favorites because uh….well…they glitter and sparkle and gleam with awesomeness. I’m a big fan of glitter anything so there wasn’t much convincing needed. There is just the right amount of glitter so that only one coat is needed for decent glitter pay off. I do prefer to layer them on top of another color instead of using them alone and typically stick to just adding a glitter nail polish to only one of my nails as an accent nail. The last two colors were very sheer, Make Waves and Drama Sheen, with their beautiful iridescent shine they are best layered on top of a similar color. Sally Hansen Triple Shine Top Coat is not too thick or too thin and helps to protect your chosen nail color and provide a lasting waterproof shine.

This is only a small selection of the color range that Sally Hansen Triple Shine has as there is a total of 29 shades in all from fun opaque pops of color to show stopping glitters and irresistible iridescent.

I almost never paint my nails but when I do they are a neutral color. Your nails look nice.
