The holidays are all about getting together with friends and family. This may be one of the busiest times of the year but it is often the best time of the year surrounded by good food and great people. Whether you are having just a few people over for dinner during the week or a family holiday gathering, I love creating the option of a single serve cocktail for guests to enjoy. Keeping ingredients for your “signature” single serve cocktail on hand means that you don’t have to worry about mixing the right amount before guests arrive. Also, single serve cocktails give guests the freedom to customize their cocktail to their liking.

This year I challenged myself to learn more about wine. While I have done a ton of research on different types of wines, I am definitely still learning and by no means an expert. I think part of the fun and appeal of wine is tasting different varieties to find out what you love. I was recently approached by POPSUGAR to try out a brand and type of wine that I wasn’t familiar with, Riunite Lambrusco. Riunite Lambrusco is made from grapes grown in Italy that has a lush, crisp, and slightly sweet flavor. Often when people talk of wine they talk about what type of food to pair with it. While Riunite Lambrusco pairs great with a variety of dishes, Riunite believes that their wine is best enjoyed with friends and family. I couldn’t agree more, especially during the holidays.

With Riunite Lambrusco, I wanted to create a cocktail that would be easy for guests to make during the holidays using ingredients that are easy to find this time of year. Chilled and full of flavor, this Single Serve Holiday Sangria not only tastes delicious but is also as festive as the holiday season.
