Spring has definitely sprung in our neighborhood. We’ve seen lots of sunny days and seen plenty of buzzy bees lately. Once the weather warms up I definitely get that itch to start spring cleaning. Now is the time when I want to refresh our living space both inside and out.

Today, as a part of the Walmart Moms, I want to share with you an easy table centerpiece idea for Spring using fresh herbs from the garden center at Walmart that not only look great as a focal point of your table but are also functional to add to a variety of different dishes and desserts.

To make this adorable centerpiece I picked up the following supplies from my local Walmart store:
(prices from my local Walmart)

  • White Ceramic Planters- $5.88 each
  • Herbs- $3.58 each
  • 5″ Clay Succulent Garden- $6.74
  • Small Faux Wood Tray- $4.84

This faux wooden tray is so adorable. It is the most perfect size and shape for this DIY project. I instantly fell in love with it when I saw it in my local Walmart store and knew that it would be the perfect tray to create a herb table centerpiece with. For our herbs I opted for two that would go great with my favorite cup of tea, sweet mint and lavender. Every year we purchase several Bonnie Plants from Walmart for our vegetable and herb garden. The pots are glazed ceramic and I love the added touch of the stopper at the bottom of the pot so that there isn’t much water that can leak out the bottom. Lastly, I opted to pick up a slightly smaller plant in height to contrast with the taller herb pots, this small succulent garden in a clay terracotta pot is the perfect contrast and just the right size to fit between the two larger pots.

I absolutely adore this Spring table centerpiece and know that the fresh herbs are going to be lovely in my teacup. Want some more Spring ideas? Check out walmart.com for more Spring Gardening and Home Improvement ideas.
