From the beginning we’ve been told that to care for our hair we must first shampoo and then condition. The problem with this method is that sometimes conditioner can weigh your hair down, especially if you have thin hair. TRESemme’ recently introduced a few new products that are now available in Walmart stores. As a part of the Walmart Moms I was sent samples of these products to try out for myself. Let’s take a look:

The first new product you might see in TRESemme’s line of hair care products at Walmart is the Botanique Nourish & Replenish shampoo and conditioner. I’ve been a big fan of TRESemme’s shampoo’s and conditioners for a while now so I was excited to see that they have come out with a line that contains no dyes, no parabens, and it’s also silicone free. For curly hair this is great! My hair soaks up every bit of moisture in this conditioner. Both the shampoo and conditioner works well with my hair type which is naturally curly/wavy that has been color treated and damaged from heat styling. The coconut milk and aloe vera I think does a great job of conditioning my hair so that it feels soft to the touch.

TRESemme’ has also released a line of products called the Beauty-Full Volume Reverse System that is geared towards thin hair that easily gets weighed down by products. The Beauty-Full Volume Reverse System adds volume to hair in a unique 2 step system. Instead of traditionally shampooing your hair first, you condition. Yep, you read that right. The first step in the Beauty-Full Volume Reverse System is to actually conditioner your hair first to add softness to your hair and then you shampoo which helps your hair to not be weighed down.

Conditioning before shampooing your hair does take a bit of time to get used to, I must admit. However, the new TRESemme Beauty-Full Volume Reverse System smells amazing so it is fun to use but with longer hair you may need more than the recommended amount that is it says on the back of the bottle. I did notice a difference in the volume of my hair after using it although I did have a bit more tangles than usual which may just be due to the length of my hair at the moment.

To keep hair voluminous all day, TRESemme’ also created a line of styling products to go with the Beauty-Full Volume Reverse System. The Flexible Finish Hairspray, Touchable Bounce Mousse, and Hair Maximizer serum will help to complete your voluminous styled locks. My personal favorite is the Touchable Bounce Mousse as it gives my naturally curly hair a bit more definition and volume without it being weighed down by the product.

Have you seen or tried these new TRESemme products? What do you think of them?

I’m really interested to try the Reverse System. I like Tresseme already but I have baby fine hair so this idea looks great to me.
