The Domestic Diva has the heads up when it comes to the hottest, must-have products, clothing, toys, and gadgets used in today’s American family over most moms due in part to her honest product reviews. The insight the Domestic Diva has on how products relate to families is often due to the four small children (ages 7, 5, 3, & 1) she keeps in her home. Being a young stay at home mom herself, Diva is able to interact with her children in ways that are beneficial for the child as well as for her future blog posts. The Domestic Diva is the perfect place for offering up honest reviews for toys and other family-friendly products to consumers.
“Advertising via product reviews on popular blogs is the new wave of media. We are often taken more seriously and content viewed as honest truth by bloggers because we are able to connect with people in a way that doesn’t sound like advertisement but like you are talking to a good friend.” Diva says
More and more advertisers and manufacturers are turning to bloggers for insights into their products. Bloggers get the word out quickly and effectively.
The Domestic Diva, 25, started her blog when she was pregnant with her first son as a means of recording the exciting events of pregnancy. As her website grew so did her services expanding into main categories of product reviews, marriage monologues, mommy matters, and domestic duties.
“Blogging is a way for me to connect with people, make enough money to buy diapers, and still be able to watch my children grow up in the comfort of our home”
As the Domestic Diva’s opinion becomes more valuable in the eyes of advertisers, she is offered more products to write about than she can often handle at one time. A mini mom mogul is what the Domestic Diva has become.
“As I think back to the days of high school, I never once thought that I would ever be a mom much less be a freelance writer for a living. I am pretty sure if you ask my English teacher, I was probably the last person he would have ever thought would be a writer when they grew up.”
“Her and the mail carriers are on a first name basis that is how often we get new products to review.” says the Domestic Diva’s husband. “Each day is a new product to try, toy to test, or gadget to play with.”
The Domestic Diva’s website offers giveaways for readers to enter, stories written directly from her life’s events, as well as product reviews on everything from clothing to toys, gadgets to cleaning supplies and everything in between.
Everywhere the Domestic Diva goes in town she is stopped by perfect strangers asking her where she got her “swag”.
“You know you were born to be a product reviewer, when perfect strangers comment and question you about the items you carry around with you in your everyday life.” Diva says.
Moms like to look to the Domestic Diva as an insight into must-have items for first time parenting.
“Telling people about products that have worked with my group of boys is just one of the many aspects of the Domestic Diva as a website.” Diva says. “Stories of messy poops, days when I want to pull my hair out, and blessings with children are shared just as often”.
“Honesty is what keeps the readers coming back. Without honesty, my job wouldn’t be as satisfying as it is today. ”
“Blogging is my therapy. If I have a bad day… I blog about it. If I have a great day…I blog about it. If one of my kids has a milestone….I blog about it. If I find a product that I can’t live without, has helped me in some way, or is ‘ubber cool’….I blog about it.”
“Blogging is like a bunch of girlfriends having a girls night out every single day of the week! We gossip, chat, and share stories about everything!!”

The Domestic Diva does it all
Reviews, tips and information on working from home and earning income online. Also great everyday home tips and occasional yummy recipes.
The Domestic Diva had me laughing out loud. Please read her post about shopping with her baby and having her time hijacked by an “old” lady who criticizes her mothering. Her description of the woman and the woman’s interrogation made me think of episodes of The Simpsons. Later she recalls another shopping experience from her pregnancy and how a six-year-old in the store announced how big she was to all within-ear-shot.
