So what is the secret to beautiful hair? We are about to find out in the video below. I’ve been ranting and raving about this shampoo/conditioner ever since my trip to Bentonville, Arkansas and now it it time to reveal to you what the name of this “mystery shampoo/conditioner” really is.
Who would have thought that unlocking the “mystery product” would have been Pantene this whole entire time? I am so shocked to find out that it was Pantene Pro V. I am still very impressed with this product and will probably continue to use it for the years to come. I firmly believe that the secret to beautiful hair really does start at your shampoo and conditioner. Without a good foundation your hair more than likely won’t be doing the things you want it to do. Now that the secret to beautiful hair has been set, my hair is now able to look better than it ever has before.
Don’t forget you can still snag a sample of this newly formulated Pantene Pro-V to try out for yourself.
Being one of the elevenmoms for walmart has its perks and one of those perks is having the opportunity to test out a “secret” shampoo and conditioner before the public even knows the name of the product. Well this said company also doesn’t want the Elevenmoms to find out the name of the product either before the big reveal on November 24, 2008. So to keep the surprise going they sent all of the Elevenmoms locked boxes of haircare products. How very clever!
To get a sample of the “salon secret” products please click the link in my sidebar (grey button, second row of 125×125 buttons at the top of the sidebar).
I can’t wait to share with you the name of this product but it looks like I am going to have to wait just a little bit longer just like all of you. The anticipation is absolutely killing me!
Holidays wouldn’t be the same with out Campbell’s, would it not? Campbell’s is the brand that we associate with all of our favorite holiday meals from green bean casserole to everyday dishes like Chicken Noodle Soup. While I was in Bentonville, Arkansas meeting with the Walmart Elevenmoms we had the opportunity to eat dinner at Campbell’s kitchen. What a fun experience that was! Chef Lee gave us a cooking demonstration on how to prepare the perfect thanksgiving dinner then we got to feast on that dinner as we discussed what we loved about Campbell’s. It was great meeting with all of the Campbell’s folks because like many other Americans, Campbell’s is what we grew up on. We love the red and white can that is typically a staple in all of our homes.

Since I loved the Campbell’s Cooking Companion cookbook and recipebox so much, I even dedicated a whole month in my menu planning to be solely recipes that we found in this cookbook. You can see this menu and even print it but you will have to get the Cookbook Companion and the recipebox to try these recipes for yourself in your home.
Thank you Campbell’s for all that you do. I enjoyed having Thanksgiving Dinner with all of you and having a sneak peak into the Campbell’s Kitchen. Out of all the Bentonville activites that I got to experience as an Elevenmom the Chef Lee demonstration was by far one of my favorite events right up there with meeting Paula Deen. You guys rock!
Our first week of nothing but Campbell’s recipes for dinner is going great. Here is an utterz of how we have been LOVING our Campbell’s cookbook….
This month I am starting a new feature on this blog and it is sharing with you my monthly menu plan. One thing that we do in our household to save money is 1. plan a menu for the entire month and 2. we only go grocery shopping once a month based on the menu that I have created. This eliminates the nagging “what’s for dinner, mom?” questions and takes one more stress out of my life.
So from now on you will be able to check out our …

…each and every single month in the sidebar (to your right) to see what’s cooking at our table each night of the week. In the details of each nights dinner you will see what cookbook the recipes come from if I am using a cookbook that night or if it is something I’ve created myself you can find those recipes here at this website. You can print out our family menu if you want to follow along with us if you so choose to do that as well.
I hope you enjoy the menu and I also hope it motivates you to create your own menu at home whether it be for a week or a whole month like we do. You can also subscribe to my monthly menu if you want to have each days menu automatically updated in your favorite feed reader.

If you haven’t heard yet Barbie is going to be at local Walmarts across the country and you have the opportunity to dress up like a princess and have your photo, or your child’s photo, taken with her. The event is for Barbie Cares. Bring an old, “previously loved” doll to your local Walmart and donate it to the Barbie Cares toy recycling program. For every doll received, Barbie will donate a new doll to a child at the local children’s hospital. Get into the holiday spirit early by giving in a fun, new way! Also for those of you that choose to donate you will receive a special Barbie tote bag while supplies last.
Unfortunately, I have all boys but we still wanted to see our Barbie at our local Walmart store today (which is the photo featured above). Pnut was being shy and was behind me too scared to have a photo with Ms. Barbie. Its ok though because Bean and I had fun.
Before heading out today, check out the list of participating stores to find a store near you that is participating in the Barbie Cares event. Remember it is only from 12-3pm today! Only 1000 stores has a live Barbie present in-store so make sure you look at the list to see if you have one near you!
