I’ve enjoyed reading your site and ofter wondered how these giveaways work– what’s the story, morning glory?
There really isn’t much to tell except that it is pretty much free stuff for you. Companies send me extra products to offer as giveaways or I have products that I can’t use so I offer them as giveaways. Low priced items require just a comment to enter where the higher priced items require a link back on your blog or for you to email your friends about the contest. On the deadline I select the winner with a random integer generator so the computer picks the winner not me. I will announce the winner on the blog the following day after the winner is chosen.
SO how do the companies know to send you this stuff?
I get contacted daily by companies wanting me to write reviews for them. I give them the option of sponsoring a giveaway so they can either send double stuff or hold the giveaway stuff there and I will email them the winners.
