Summer Fruit Salad with Brown Sugar Lime Dressing

Fresh summer fruit sweetened with brown sugar and a hint of lime. This salad is the perfect way to cool down on a hot summer day. The brown sugar lime dressing is addictive you'll want to add it to all of your fruit.

  • 2 limes zest and juice
  • 2 apples
  • 3 TBSP brown sugar
  • 1 pint strawberries cut into quarters
  • 3 peaches or nectarines diced
  • 3 pears diced
  • 2 cups red seedless grapes
  • 1 fresh pineapple cored and cut into chunks
  1. In a large bowl, place one pint of quartered strawberries.
  2. Sprinkle the strawberries with brown sugar.
  3. Toss to coat and set aside for 5-10 minutes while you prepare the other fruit.
  4. Once all of the other fruit has been cubed, diced, or cut into chunks add them to the bowl of strawberries.
  5. Zest 2 limes and squeeze juice onto the fruit.
  6. Toss until everything is well coated. Serve.
Recipe Notes

Can be covered and stored in the refrigerator up to two days. As the fruit salad sits the brown sugar and lime dressing draws out the natural sweetness of the fruit. Toss before serving.
