Every home cook needs at least one or two cookbooks in their kitchen. Up until this point in my life, I never thought about having a library in my home. As I’ve fallen more in love with reading over the last few years, I’ve found a love and desire to fill my home with books. Most would think to have books in a home office or area dedicated to reading. My goal is to have books in every room of my house. The kitchen is no exception.
It's Never Too Late to Start Reading!
Rediscover the love of reading. Here you will find book recommendations for your own domestic reading adventure. Take the time out of each and every day to read just a little something because reading is one of the best forms of self-care.
I rediscovered my love of reading over the summer in 2019. I challenged myself to read as many books as I could over that time period. Surprisingly, I sparked something inside myself that I didn't know was there. Reading became the escape I didn't know I was looking for.
When you read a good book, it is an intimate and personal experience. You aren't sharing that time with anyone else but yourself. So, take a look around. Find a good book or make a list of two or three.
Feel free to join in the reading fun through the Domestic Book Club. Participate in your own time from the comfort of your own home. We will read and discuss one book a month.
