After the bean eats he likes to play and “talk”. We get the biggest grins during this time from him. Today I managed to snap a good photo of his gummy grin once I taught Daddy how to get him to smile. He likes to play “I don’t want the pacey in my mouth”. We try to give him his pacey and he will push it out with his tounge, which immediately triggers him to smile, sometimes laugh, and coos for us to do it again. It really is the funniest thing to watch. We love our beany weany!

I made my own “wrap” out of some t-shirt fabric that I picked up at the craft store. Out of all the carriers that I have, the one that I made myself is the one that the bean likes the best. I managed to snag some photos of him looking around, laughing, cooing, and smiling at me all while being worn. We were in the kitchen when I took the photos, I was attempting to clean up but couldn’t help but be distracted by this…

As you can tell, he really likes the homemade “wrap”. He likes being upright versus laying down because he is able to see everything. Since he can’t quite hold his head up on his own, he still has to have his neck supported, I am unable to use a sling to have him upright unless I’m holding his head, with the wrap I don’t have this problem because I can arrange it so it supports his head for me.

My step-sons, Big Head #1 and Big Head #2, are going to be staying with us for the whole month of July just about. Since we had moved to the middle of nowhere early last year, we didn’t get to see them on the weekends like we usually did but now that we have moved back to our homestate we are able to see them again. We arranged to get them for the whole month of July to make up for the weekends that we had missed. We have been having lots of fun since Friday cooking all sorts of things in the kitchen from cookies, bread, and even pretzels. Even though I am more exhausted with 4 kids in the house, I like that pnut has someone to play with. He loves playing with his brothers. They brought there game cube with them which in turn has made pnut and hubby complete video game addicts!!! This can not be a good thing….
