P-nut has been very affectionate lately towards me and his father. We will ask him ” can you give me a kiss” and he will give us the biggest wettest kiss he could possibly muster up. It will just melt your heart everytime. Not only does he just give us kisses, but other family members [Mama Dee and Great Granny] and his favorite stuffed panda bear “Squishy” and other various items.

On a different note, I’ve been having a problem with p-nut drinking his milk ever since he went off of his formula a month or two ago. I thought he would have no problem going from formula to milk because he didn’t have a problem giving up the bottle in fact he doesn’t miss it at all. Well I’ve tried several flavored milks and even watered down milk or milk with yogurt with no such luck. Today I made it my mission to get my son to drink milk instead of just eating it with his cheerios in the morning. I sat him down on the kitchen counter took a clean medicine syringe and fed him ovaltine chocolate milk. After feeding him that way a couple times, I put the top back on his sippy cup and handed it to him. Each time he would take a sip. I would applaud and give him much praise for it. It worked!!! He drank ovaltine all day with no problem. He was even asking for more. I also got him to sign “milk” to me after he signed “more”. I am so proud. Next I’ll tackle plain milk.

Here is a photo of p-nut watching “dancing with the stars” as we ate lasagna. He loves the dancing and the music. I personally don’t like that show but desperate housewives didn’t come on today so I had to sit through it until Grey’s Anatomy came on.

Ok, cool. Yeah, I’m glad he is finally drinking milk…even though it is chocolate at least it has extra vitamins from the ovaltine.

yea chocolates better than nothing. There are some powdered mixtures you can put into milk to add flavor but not so much sugar like chocolate milk. Check that out ;-) Caleb doesnt know chocolate milk is around… so i’ll hold him off as long as I can.. he has discovered kool-aid tho.. thanks to his daddy… ~_~ he refuses to drink water now.

About the Boy

Hello, my name is P-nut. I'm the first born and my momma's heart. I'm a very well-behaved toddler. I've been sleeping in my big boy bed since August of 2006 and I've gave up my pacey sometime in September of the same year. I'm growing up, Mama! I love playing with my dog, "DoJo" and learning my letters. I could watch Elmo and Sesame Street all day long if Mommy would let me.
