Ok, this is how we run the television in my house… During the day I tend to keep it off and just listen to the radio. P-nut LOVES watching television and would sit in front of it all day long if I let him. So, during the day we just listen to music. Since hubby wakes up before I do he will get the p-nut out of his crib. For the past couple of weeks I’ve asked my husband to turn the tv on to pbs so that p-nut could watch Sesame Street and Elmo’s World before we have to take hubby to work. He LOVES elmo! I thought it would be good for him to watch these two shows for educational reasons and hopefully he will pick up a few words along the way. Well for the past couple of days p-nut has changed his cute little baby laugh into the laugh of Ernie from Sesame Street. I suppose he likes Ernie because he sings whenever he has a small segment on the show but to hear Ernies laugh come out of your sons mouth is absolutely hilarious. P-nut is beginning to say alot more words as of late. His latest additions to his vocabulary are:
P-nut also said his first SENTENCE! All day yesterday he kept saying to what his father and I perseived as “honey” but we couldn’t figure out where he would have picked up “honey” from since I hardly ever say it and I know hubby doesn’t say. Well that afternoon we were all in the living room playing around when p-nut stood up looked at hubby and said… “Daaadddy, I want some moooney!“ LOL. He really said that. Now it makes since as to what he was saying earler in the day. Hubby often gets change out of our change jug for drinks or what-not whilst he is at work, and I guess p-nut likes playing with the pennies and things. So the p-nut is a little money hungry right now…lol.
