That is what you will hear from my son if you go with us to the grocery store, or any other store for that matter. He is trying his best to be a social butterfly but sometimes certain people still scare him. As of late he will wave and say “HEY!” to the people that pass us in the store. He still doesn’t like the idea of strangers touching him, which I don’t blame one bit because I don’t like strangers touching my son either. Maybe I should teach him to bite their hand off if he comes near…Just kidding, I know that would be wrong. I just don’t understand why everyone feels the need to touch him. I’ve never touched anyones kid that I didn’t know. They did the same thing with my stomach when I was pregnant. It is so annoying.
P-nut finally gave my father a kiss on the lips. My father has never gotten a kiss from p-nut until this weekend. We were leaving my folks house after granny’s birthday party and I told the p-nut to give “Mama D Kisses” which he did then I told him to give “Grandpa Kisses” and he did that too. It was the sweetest thing, and I know that just rocked my fathers world. It takes p-nut a while to warm up to my father because he doesnt see him as much as Mama D. Mama D visits us during the day and we can’t see Grandpa till after he gets off of work. I love to see my father spend time with my son.
New signs for p-nut are:
Potty
Read
He has those both down pat. He even says “wead” when he does the sign for read. Potty training is going kind of slow. P-nut is now in pull ups with learning designs. He’s gone #1 in the potty maybe 3 times in the past couple of weeks. I know that it is still kind of early for him to be trying to learn to potty train so I’m trying not to get discouraged.
Calebs social like that as well. What makes me upset is when Caleb just as cute as can be waves Hi to someone and says “Hiiiii.” and they just ignore him. How rude!
One time at a store in town called Meijer (like walmart) the cashier lady actually ASKED to hold Caleb. I think Caleb was 6 months or so at the time.
I didnt know what to say. So I said “sure” this woman was REALLY old. Like 70 something. Any how. She holds him for like 3 seconds and then says “okay… here” haha. He was way heavy for her. It was funny. But at the same time very strange. I didnt like it at all.
Good job on the new signs
I put Caleb on the potty atleast 4 times a day. I ask him “Do you have to potty?” and he will nod yes or no if he does. Pnut will learn.
Caleb seems to be gaining more control of his pee and poop. Because he knows as soon as he is seated to go… its awesome.
Hello, my name is P-nut. I'm the first born and my momma's heart. I'm a very well-behaved toddler. I've been sleeping in my big boy bed since August of 2006 and I've gave up my pacey sometime in September of the same year. I'm growing up, Mama! I love playing with my dog, "DoJo" and learning my letters. I could watch Elmo and Sesame Street all day long if Mommy would let me.
