Last night, pnut and I had a date night complete with a good movie [”The Break Up”; granted not a kid movie but still pnut enjoyed the time with his mommy and mommy loved the movie] and some homemade popcorn [pnuts favorite snack food]. Pnut loves popcorn and he loves to watch mommy make it in her old timey lookin’ popcorn stand/maker. We found these old timey popcorn boxes at Target a couple weeks ago for a dollar! They are great! Pnut loves eating out of them. So much fun!
Pnut is loving learning how to get dressed. He will sit and play for hours trying to put pants on or shirts on. He can put his pull-up on with a little help from me. He wears our shoes throughout the house. And loves Daddy’s hats.
Who knew you could have sooooo much fun with a cup and your voice? Pnut takes these little snack cups out of the “pnut drawer” and runs around the house humming, talking, and singing into these cups. “They make my voice sound funny, mommy!” Tons of fun.
Pnut,
I need to make your chore chart up again. You are being such a good helper lately. You will help me with the laundry by loading the dryer. You help me with the dishes by handing me the clean ones so I don’t have to bend over. And you go and put your toys in your room when I tell you to. Such a big helper. Thank you!
You are very fascinated with your belly button and other peoples as well. You haven’t grasped the fact that mommy has a baby in her tummy, yet. In fact, you think that my belly button IS the baby. You lift my shirt, point at the belly button and say “Baby!” then lift your shirt and point to your belly button and say “BABY!”. You are just too funny!
