1 14 oz. bag of white melting chocolate [can be found at Michaels or cake decorating stores]
1 carton of strawberries [washed & dried]
Double boiler [ if you do not have a double boiler, you can use a glass or metal mixing bowl and a large pot]
Directions:
Fill the bottom pot of you double boiler with water, place second pot on top and heat on high until water is boiling. Add chocolate to top of boiler. Continually stir as it melts. When completely melted, grab strawberries by the stems and dip into chocolate. When coated lay on a baking sheet lined with waxed paper. When all of the strawberries are coated, place baking sheet in refrigerator to cool until you are ready to eat.
Make it fun!
To make your strawberries unique and a little fun, make strawberry tuxedos! To do this simply add whatever color food coloring you would like to the remaining melted white chocolate. I choose blue and green for an ’80’s prom appeal. When you have turned the melted white chocolate to whatever color you want and the first coat of white chocolate has hardened on your strawberries you can begin creating a tuxedo coat. Dip either side of the strawberry into the colored melted white chocolate and put back on the wax paper. To make bow ties and buttons, dip a a fork or clean baking stick [ like toothpick] into the chocolate and make dots on your strawberries. To make the bow tie just do 3 dots in a row. Easy as that. Have fun with it!

Did you know Travis’ dad is a strawberry farmer? He farms that among other fruits and veggies. but in NC he is famous for his Strawberries. They are so yummy… far better than any store bought berry. I hate we cant go pick them like we use to though living so far away.

Oh really, that is awesome. My hubby loves strawberries. I love melons…watermelon, honeydew, cantalope, love them all.
