Summer is in full swing at our house. There is definitely an adjustment period going from homeschool days to the days of summer but I think I’m FINALLY starting to figure some sort of schedule out. I know many of you are probably just as busy with your own summer schedules. Between figuring out what summer schedule works best for us, I’ve also been working on lots of new content that I hope to be adding here on the blog fairly soon. Today I thought I would share one of those ideas and that is sharing what I’m currently watching in entertainment.
One of the ways that I like to unwind at the end of a long day is with some form of entertainment. Whether it be via Netflix, Hulu Plus, regular Cable TV, or even YouTube there is bound to be something to watch. So I thought it would be fun to share with all of you some of the shows I’m currently
watching obsessed with. I don’t know about you, but I love when I find a new show I’ve never seen like on Netflix for example and I’m able to watch season after season whenever I have the time. One way that I find out about good shows to watch is through recommendations from other people (usually via social media). Below are some of the shows I’m currently watching. Feel free to leave any show recommendations that you are currently obsessed with in the comment section of this post, I’d love to check them out!!
TRUE BLOOD: one of my favorite aspects of summer is the return of one of my all time favorite shows. My husband and I are equally obsessed with this show and so are a few of my friends. True Blood airs on Sunday Nights at 9pm on HBO. For all those “truebies” out there, also don’t forget to check out Baby Vamp Jessica’s Blog.
WIGS: this is a different kind of show in the fact that it doesn’t air on television but rather it’s an online mini-series on YouTube. I personally really like online mini-series whenever I stumble upon them. The hard part is finding out when and where they are. I first found out about Wigs YouTube channel from one of their ads that played when I was watching another YouTube video. After watching one series, Blue with Julia Stiles, I forgot about it then stumbled upon it again just the other day. The actress in the new series, Susanna, is Anna Paquin who plays Sookie in True Blood so, of course, I had to tune in.
REAL FOOD REAL KITCHENS: And lastly, I stumbled upon this cooking show on Hulu Plus when I was looking for something to watch last weekend. I like that this show shares the stories of real
cooks people cooking real food in their real kitchens.
